A single wireless spotlight for the corner of a room you actually look at — a plant, a picture, the pages of a book. It runs on its own battery, rotates to whatever it is aimed at, and can be moved whenever the room changes.

Rechargeable, and wireless

The built-in 2500 mAh battery charges in under three hours and then runs for between four and fifteen hours, depending on how bright you set it. There is no cord and no plug, so the light can stand on a table or be fixed to a wall. Charge it before the first use.

Three colour temperatures

Warm white, natural white and cool white, from a COB chip behind a soft lens. At 300 lumens, the light is described as free of blue light and flicker, and the supplier positions it for use as a night light or a reading light. The body is built to dissipate heat, with a rated life of up to 50,000 hours.

Touch, or remote

Both work. Touch the light to switch it on or off and to step through the colour temperatures — a short press changes the setting, a long press moves through the brightness range. The remote does the same from across the room, and adds a timer that switches the light off after 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Switch the light back on and it returns to the setting you last used.

Two ways to place it

Use the magnetic mount to fix it to a wall or a ceiling, or simply stand it on a surface. The head turns 360° horizontally and 90° vertically, which is what makes one light work over a desk, beside a bed or underneath a shelf.

Brightness, held steady

Brightness is adjustable from 10% to 100%, so the same light can wash a wall or sit low enough to read by.
